Toul Sleng was a former school used as a prison / place of torture & execution utilised by the Khmer Rouge during the Cambodian genocide in the late 1970's. It's one of those places you feel a need to visit, while knowing that it will be as horrific as it is. Cheung Ek was a site of mass executions and burials, with the crudest tools being used to kill those unlucky enough to end up there during the genocide. Again, its harrowing, but from a historical point of view has to be done. My advice is to get them both out of the way on the same day, its done then. Just remember, "Never Again". (Note, the images are mixed up between both sites in no clear order, I have yet to figure out how to arrange / organise imagery on this software.)
